Since warm weather is around the corner (hopefully) and when I think of warm weather, I think of fresh glowy makeup. What better way to achieve a glowy makeup look than a bomb highlight? Highlight has been a thing for many years now, but it wasn’t until recent that the drugstore has stepped up their highlight game! Below are my top affordable highlighters that I think compete with my favorite high end products. One // This highlighter recently came out and I have to say that in my opinion, it’s the best drugstore highlighter out so far! I know, that’s a huge statement to make but it really is amazing. If you’re into a wet, beaming from space highlight, this is for you. I’m obsessed and have been using this everyday since I got it. I use this more than my beloved Becca Cosmetics highlighters! Two // If you love Becca’s Champagne Pop then you will die for this $3 dupe. I can’t believe not many people know about this eyeshadow but it looks identical to Champagne pop. I don’t think there’s much to say because I mean a $3 highlighter that can compete with a $38 one? What more could you want haha Three // If you’re someone that likes highlight, but doesn’t want that wet intense look this is the highlight for you! I love this for days when I’m wearing minimal makeup but still want a bit of glow. If you lightly apply this it’ll give you a beautiful subtle glow, however it is definitely buildable and can give you beaming highlight if that’s what you’re going for as well! Four // This is another highlight that will give you a more wet looking highlight and is only about $7!
