A 5-Day Reset Guide: Day Five
Recognize all the things you have to be grateful for in your life…

DAY 5: INTEGRATE
The integration of daily routines and rituals of mindfulness promotes long-term vitality and well-being; think of it as a preventative care plan and a pathway to more happiness.
As you transition back to “real life,” the idea is to blend the integration of your past with the present. My hope is that you create a hybrid of your previous habits with what you now know. You can use this material any time you need a mind-body reboot. It’s a great way to keep checking in with yourself, so that you can lead a more vibrant, healthy life!
Today, express gratitude. The more we give thanks, the better we feel. When we express our thankfulness, the people around us feel better, too. Take time to write thank you notes, reach out to loved ones, and recognize all the things you have to be grateful for in your life. The more you express gratitude, the more that wonderful people and situations will flow into your life. Write gratitude lists in the morning or evening whenever you’re feeling out of touch or disconnected from your humble heart.
ENHANCE DIGESTION
Digestion is quite possibly one of the most important contributors to maintain health. About 70% of our immune system lies in the digestive tract and, as a result, maintaining digestive health is the key to keeping you healthy all year long. Healthy digestion also means a healthy metabolism, weight regulation, and proper assimilation of nutrients. Our digestion also plays a key role in our moods, 90% of the feel good hormone serotonin is made in the gut. You could be eating a 100% organic diet that contains the cleanest, nutrient-rich foods, but if you’re not digesting well, you won’t be absorbing all the nutrients properly.
