Amber necklace features small sterling silver botanical style amber pod pendant with natural 6mm Baltic amber cabochon on sterling silver chain. Inside of pod has a dark patina finish. Outer surface is antiqued, then re-polished to bring out details.
Amber has 24 kt gold backing to increase ‘glow’.
PLEASE NOTE: Inclusions (crackly marks) within the amber vary from ‘throughout’ to ‘none’. The stone in the pendant we have for sale right now, has little to no inclusions. You can see clearly through the stone to the rippled gold background.
The setting is a casting of an oak leaf gall. (See last photo.)
SIZE:
Pendant is about 1/2 inch wide (13mm), 3/4 inches tall (20mm), including bail, and is strung on a sterling silver 1.5mm-thick rolo-style chain, and finished with a sterling silver lobster clasp.
