    Ingredients

  • 1 (9inch)baked pie crusts
  • 1tablespoonpowdered sugar
  • 3ouncescream cheese
  • 1 1/2 quartsstrawberries
  • 1cupsugar
  • 2tablespoonskaro white corn syrup
  • 1cupwater
  • 3tablespoonsjell-o strawberry gelatin
  • 1pinchsalt
  • 3tablespoonscornstarch
  • Directions

  • Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar, spread carefully over bottom of baked pie shell.
  • Arrange berries in shell.
  • Berries should be sliced.
  • Cook sugar, syrup, water, salt, and cornstarch over medium heat until thick.
  • Add Jello mix and cool.
  • Pour glaze over berries and refrigerate.

The only thing I did differently was I used a premade Graham-cracker crust because I was in such a rush and I brushed it with a little egg white to keep it together and give it a glaze. The jello was a really strange mix with the strawberries. No one seemed to like the somewhat set, but not set fully wannabe jello mixed with strawberries at all. It just was really strange. The texture, the taste. Just a big mess! Will not be making this again.”
