Antique German Copper Stencil Initials Ko Kp Kt Ku Kv Kw Kz Art Nouveau for Decorative Embroidery. Please note that this is just for ONE of these stencils, please advise which one you require.

There are 11 different sizes on each one, some are for cross stitch. These are big stencils, each one measure 5 inches x just over 4 inches.

Initials available are Kf Ko Kp Kt Ku Kv Kw

This stencil has the initials cut out on a thin piece of copper. These were used extensively in the early 1900’s by young women preparing their linens for their dowry chest.

A blue powdered dye was dabbed lightly over the monogram to mark the fabric thus making it easier to embroider. The blue dye would disappear once the item was laundered.

It has never been used and is in excellent condition and can still be used or incorporated into another project or scrapbook.
