  • “I made this last night, and thought it made for a passing ketchup-based BBQ sauce, but it wasn’t quite Arby’s sauce.I altered it and it’s closer now.Not quite there, but it passes muster.I added a half-cup of Apple-Cider vinegar (I would imagine malt vinegar might work as well) and used a full teaspoon of hot sauce (I used Louisiana Hot Sauce). This took out some of the ketchup flavor and made it closer to the Arby’s Sauce goodness. It has a tad more kick, but not so much that it didn’t seem like a close facsimile…”

  • “Like SugarKitty noted, this is the only recipe around the web, so I gave it a try and found it was pretty good.I do think it needed a few modifications, but that was to my own personal taste, to give it more of a zing. Thanks DiB’s.”

  • “This went very nice with a veggie burger I cooked up. It was all I needed! Thanks!”

  • “Well, I can’t tell you if this compares to Arby’s, we don’t have one here either, and it’s been many years since I’ve had one. But I CAN tell you that it was wonderful! More like a spiced-up ketchup I guess, but LOVED it!! I had to opt for “Plan B”, making it panini-style, after finding out that one of my hubby’s “post-Thanksgiving raids” must’ve included a turkey sandwich using the last onion bun from the freezer! But loved it just the way it was! I used havarti cheese, and it all blended very well! Thanks so much! This was THOROUGHLY enjoyed! :)”

  • “Was the Sauce good?It was ok.Did it taste like Arby’s Sauce? No!I think that the amount of Ketchup used was it’s undoing. You could really taste the Ketchup, something you do not taste when you use real Arby’s sauce.”

  • “although i haven’t tried this yet – i will… i’ve looked at several other websites and all recipes for Arby’s sauce are the same – maybe the one reviewer did something wrong? – anyhow i will be trying this soon and will report back!”

  • “did not like this recipe at all. will not do it again!!!”
