Our one-of-a-kind art glass beads are made in our back porch studio, looking out at the gardens for inspiration, using minor burner torches with a variety of glasses, including Effetre / Moretti from Murano, Italy, Kugler and Double Helix glass. They are formed and shaped primarily with gravity and the aid of paddles with an occasional use of presses, and slowly annealed and cooled overnight in a digitally controlled kiln. They are then carefully cleaned and inspected.

We photograph the beads in natural sunlight (weather permitting in the winter). Colors and intensity may slightly vary on different computer monitors. Colors can also vary when beads are seen under different types of artificial lighting.

We are members of SRA, Self Representing Artists, a group of glass artists who are dedicated to the art of lampworking, an ancient art form that flourished in Italy in the 1300’s and then spread throughout Europe, the Americas and the rest of the world. We are also active with Lampwork Etc. (LE), an online community of glass artists, and a member of their team LETEAM, here on Etsy.
