  • Reviews

  • “This is such a great recipe that we decided to add it to our Navy wives’ club cookbook. We used to freeze the fruit mixture into rings, put the rings into a punch bowl and then pour the ginger ale over the top before serving.Very attractive, especially if you decorate the rings with whole strawberries or blueberries.”

  • “This was a hit at a party we had yesterday. I added an 85 g packet of strawberry jello for color. It was a delightful drink for these hot days. I halved the quantity of your recipe for a smaller crowd. It made 2 litres of slush mixture. Didn’t have any oranges, so I left it out and used just 1.5 lemons for the half recipe. However I still used 6 bananas, as we prefer a stronger taste of banana. thanks for sharing”

  • “Very refreshing on the hot summer days.I halved the recipe with no problem.Thank you for a great slush!”

  • “I love anything banana flavored but thought the pineapple taste was definately more prevelant in this recipe.I served it at a bunco party and the women loved it.They also appreciated the fact that it was left virgin and they could add their choice of mixers.Based on my party, I would say the number of servings is much closer to 50 than 100 unless the servings were in tiny punch cups.I would make this again!”

  • “Let the slush sit for a couple minutes before serving. The slush will become very thick and smooth.”

  • “very delicious and easy to make”

  • “My family has used this recipe for years. It’s wonderful! Refreshing, not too sweet. Everyone loves it!!”
