  • “So easy, fantastic I will be passing this along to my friends”

  • “This is a great method for moist chops. My chops were about 3/4″ thick so I adjusted the time accordingly.I also sprinkled on some paprika and garlic powder and reduced the salt to personal taste.Thx for such a simple but tasty way to cook pork.”

  • “Overall, I’m not a big fan of pork, unless it’s already processed (bacon,sausage,ham..)..That said, I Loved the flavor of this, as did my 11 y/o stepson( my husband liked the 1/3 pork chop that he got to try – my step son really liked these.. ). I did add some garlic salt and onion powder, along with a smidge of smoked paprika ( we like very seasoned foods ).My only problem was the tenderness, or rather, the lack thereof – Hence only 4 stars. Next time I make it ( yes, there will be a next time ), I am going to try beating my pork chops into submission with a meat tenderizer, and letting the meat “Rest” for a bit after it is cooked ( gotta love Alton Brown :o). I am not all that familiar with the way pork cooks, so I’m sure that was part of it too. Thanks for the recipe :o)”

  • “Some of the most tender pork I’ve ever had, and even though I don’t usually like pork, I will definately make this again!I added some minced garlic while the chops were in the skillet and then added some onion powder because we are big flavor people, and it did really good because the flavor of it really went all through the pork! Thanks for sharing!”

  • “These did not turn out moist for me. My chops were a bit thicker, so I reduced the baking time and still they were overcooked. I also didn’t think the seasoning was enough.”

  • “What an easy and yummy way to make pork chops! Mine turned out nice and moist with great flavor. Thanks for sharing ArtWork!!”

  • “My new way of cooking pork chops!I have tried just frying in the skillet or grilling and they always end up dry or tough.I seasoned Hormel loin chops with garlic, seasoned salt, and pepper and after browning for a few minutes they only took about 12-13 mimutes before internal temp was 150.U did let them rest at least 5 minutes bofore serving, but would be glad to serve these to company!DH thought they were moister than even crockpot pork. Thanks for sharing!”

  • “There were so easy and delish!!I’ve given up on cooking any kind of pork. I alway overcook it and it is like eating paper (unless I salvage it and make it into pulled pork).Anyway – this was just so perfect! And easy, easy, easy. I had thick boneless chops – I sliced them in half, defatted them and stuck my Williams Sonoma thermometer in them and popped them out when they hit 140. With a teaspoon of Sweet Baby Ray’s……. They…….Were……Perfect!thanks!”

  • “These were the bomb!I used extra virgin olive oil as well as kosher salt and freshly ground pepper.I think that more than the ingredients, correct preparation is what makes this recipe. If cooked incorrectly the result could be overcooked, tough.Thank you for a delicious, simple recipe that makes me look good!”

  • “Just okay.Nothing special.I was hoping this method would result in tender, juicy pork chops, but they were a little tough, and not very juicy.I was hoping for more.Try the Gravy Baked Pork Chops instead…those are very good.”

  • “WOW! Very easy and delicious! My extremely picky 14 y/o loved them as well. That says a lot! Will definitely use this recipe often. Thanks!”

  • “This was amazing!By FAR my favorite way to make pork chops. The chops were so tender and flavorful. Thanks for the recipe!”

  • “I just made these for dinner and they were delicious! They melted in our mouths. This recipe is definitely a keeper!Thank you!!!”

  • “How could something so simple be so killer? Thanks!!!!”

  • “Wife made them and I just love them. I will keep this recipe for life and share it with all my friends. Thank you very much.”

  • “great chops. the only thing I did different was dip them in beaten egg and dredge thru flour first, and that was only because I didn’t look at the recipe till after to see what temp the oven had to be at. It was great. chops were moist and cooked in the oven in 10 minutes. will use this recipe again and again..”

  • “My husband and I loved these chops. They were so easy and fast to make.Hubby said they were the best I’d ever made. Our kids weren’t so enthusiastic, but they didn’t hate them. So, I’m giving them 4 stars and will definitely make them again.”

  • “Fast, easy and tasty!”

  • “Some of the best pork we have had, sometimes simple is best and it sure was in this case. Wonderful tasty pork and beautifully browned in the roasting. I will definately be making these again, thanks for posting!!”
