  • Reviews

  • “I had trouble with this recipe, the egg/cheese mixture did not seem to rise enough, it took twice as long to bake and I ended up with dry, crispy broccoli and very little filling!”

  • “Supe quick to put together and really delicious!!Thanks for a winner.”

  • “Very, very nice and very, very easy to make!I only used half a bag of broccoli and that was quite enough.Instead of mozzarella I shredded up some cheddar cheese.Next time I’ll add some ham to this, or mushrooms, or who knows the possibilities? This one is a keeper!”

  • “Super easy to make and a big hit with all!”

  • “I used cheddar instead of mozzarella, since that’s what I had on hand. I was afraid the crust was going to turn out soggy, but it was fine. It seemed too easy to possibly be good, but I was entirely wrong. I did have to bake it a bit longer than 30 mintues though. It was super yummy! Thanks muchly! “

  • “This quiche has a nice mild flavor.I made it to appeal to my younger daughter as she is not a big fan of quiche with swiss cheese in it.I added about 2/3 cup of fat free half and half as well and baked it for longer, about 40 minutes at 375 on a lower rack. The crust on the under-side has a hard time getting done at lower temps. It was delicious, thanks for posting this easy quiche recipe.”

  • “pretty good!I didn’t know making quiche could be this easy =).Next time I might add some bacon bits or sausage”

  • “This unconventional recipe works!I took the concept and ran with it, substituting 1 1/2 to 2 cups of ratatouille for the broccoli. I kept to the rest of the proportions for the eggs and cheese.Nervously I put it in the oven, wondering if my DH would object to eating sardine sandwiches if this quiche didn’t turn out very well.No to worry; we both loved it and the texture was surprisingly “creamy”, not like an omelette in a pie crust.I did have to bake it for 10 extra minutes. The leftovers heated up great the next day.I can’t wait to experiment with other ingredients in this great recipe!”

  • “I would also give this one more than five stars if I could. It’s enough that it tastes great and is elegant, as well as super-easy to prepare. But here’s a quiche recipe that doesn’t require cream!!! (Which every other quiche recipe I’ve come across, unfortunately, seems to call for.)Thank you, thank you for this healthier and flavorful alternative!”

  • “I’d give you more stars if I could!! 🙂 This dish was terrific! Sooo easy to make. And so tasty! I made it almost to the letter. I used shredded mozzarella and used cheddar too. I added diced ham. I forgot the salt & pepper so I used a little onion salt once it was done. FABULOUS!!! It’s a keeper! Thanks for sharing! :)P.S.- I have been a little skiddish to use the zaar’s untried/not rated recipes until today. I’m sure there are a lot of gems here. You made me want to try more! Thanks.”
