  • “I made these with English toffee chips and spread a very thin layer of melted Ghiradelli chocolate on top. Simple and absolutely delicious.”

  • “Very easy and sinfully delicious. No need to make any changes as far as I am concerned.I love butterscotch so this was a dream for me to make. I had to hide them from my husband or he would have eaten them all. Thanks Dana. We really enjoyed these.”

  • “You didn’t have to talk me into trying these–I LOVE caramel!I didn’t have enough butterscotch chips so I added a few white chocolate chips and they were delicious! They are all gone now!!! Thanks Dana!”

  • “Dana: Thank you for this one. You know it’s easy and fun to make when you have 4 year old boy doing all the mixing. (Then strutting around thinking it’s all his. LOL)It was so simple and easy, but, didn’t last long after coming out of the oven. A deffinate 5 Star from him, his parents, and me. Great recipe, and in our To Make Again section. Thanks again.”

  • “Very easy to make and tasty.”

  • “Very easy, very tasty chewy butterscotch! Except for “hello dolly/7-layers bars”, I have never made a cookie bar without eggs and butter. To cut calories (ha ha!) I used low fat grahams, no-fat condensed milk, 1/2 C pecans & 1/2 C oatmeal (instead of 1 C nuts). Will try choc chips and all oatmeal for choc-lover daughter who won’t eat nuts. Thanks!”
