Cheesy Bacon Burgers

  • 6slicesbacon
  • 2lbsground beef
  • 1smallonion, chopped
  • 1cupcatsup
  • 1 (4ounce) jars sliced mushrooms, drained
  • salt and pepper
  • 2cupsshredded cheddar cheese
  • 8hamburger buns
  • Directions

  • Fry bacon in large skillet; crumble and set aside.
  • Drain off all bacon drippings.
  • Add ground beef to skillet and brown; drain off fat.
  • Sir in bacon, onion, catsup, mushrooms, salt and pepper.
  • Cover and simmer 10-15 minutes.
  • Sprinkle cheese over top, and heat until cheese melts.
  • To serve, spoon over split hamburger buns.
