  • Reviews

  • “Very easy and fast to make. Lots of chocolate chip cookie recipes to choose from so I’d recommend this one.”

  • “Great recipe! I use equal amounts of brown and white sugar, but other than that, change nothing. Great to freeze unbaked and pull out when you have unexpected guests. Just let sit on the counter for 20 minutes before baking as usual.”

  • “Very good and easy recipe!I had to bake the cookies a little longer than the recipe suggests, but they were some of the best cookies I’ve had.”

  • “This is a fantastic recipe! It is not only quick and delicious, but absolutely easy to add different ingredients and still come out great!I added 1/2 c. wheat flour with the 2c. of flour and added wheat germ, 1/2 c. oatmeal and 2T. milk. These were fantastic and I even doubled the recipe, froze half of the dough-made the balls then froze on a cookie sheet until firm, then placed in a plastic bag-they still cooked and tasted great! I got rave reviews on these!”

  • “Classic chocolate chip cookies. Thanks.”

  • “This is a 5 star chocolate chip cookie recipe. I changed the sugar amounts slightly putting equal parts white and brown sugar (1 cup white 1 cup brown)and a few more chocolate chips. The other reviews were off by 1 star and if you add more chocolate chips they were off by 2 stars.I served them to the staff where I work and some people said they were the best chocolate chip cookies they ever had. Thanks for posting this recipe.”

  • “This is a great recipe, was looking for an easy quick chocolate chip recipe to take some cookies to a meeting, these were perfect! I got 60 cookies because I made them half size. Everyone loved them, thanks for posting, DH insists I make more for our freezer, hehe , he only got one!!”

  • “I have been making chocolate chip cookies for years; my husband’s favourite.I have my recipe here;it has oatmeal in them but I didn’t have any oatmeal so I looked for a recipe and found this one. They are Fantastic!!!I added 1/4 toffee bits to the chocolate chips; with my oven they took 12 minutes to brown the way I like them. The are chewy, crispy, chocolaty and make you smile. Thanks for sharing this one; I’m so happy I ran out of oatmeal.”

  • “An exeptional basic recipe. I followed the advice of bringing the eggs and butter to room tempurature and came out with perfect cookies. Also, I didn’t have a lot of chocolate chips so I added about a half cup of maple chunks that I found at www.artisansweets.com. They added a bit of crunch to the cookies and the maple went great with the brown sugar. “

  • “the best choco chip recipe I have tried and I have tried many.”
