Antique Quilt Necklace! I have restored pieces of this gorgeous vintage feather stitched quilt and re-purposed them into a charming one-of-a-kind necklace. The quilt is set into an open brass tray so that you can in fact touch and feel the quilt.

This quilt is full of a selection of fabrics that someone adoringly and laboriously made from restoring and recycling their materials from matches, shirts, pants, and what-not into this quilt.
Then came the embellishment, (which likewise served as extra stamina to hold the piecing in place) … the lovely plume stitching!
Plume stitching is an art kind in itself!
