  • “These are GREAT! Really easy to make as well. We simmered it for about an hour before the sauce thickened up nice, and oh boy were the chops tender! YUM!!! We just had to try this recipe because it sounded so interesting…glad we did as the whole family loved it! Thanks for sharing such a great recipe!”

  • “EXCELLENT! Loved it! I just had to try it due to the unusual ingredient. The onions and mushrooms were absolutely wonderful, and the chops were nice & tender as well. We let it simmer for nearly an hour, however, before the sauce thickened up a bit. WAS GREAT!!!”

  • “Totally moist and flavorful! DELICIOUS!!Definitely a keeper:)”

  • “Great recipe! I turned it up a bit with a little sea salt, microbrew beer and vermont maple syrup in the marinade for the evening.Skied a pow day at Alta, Utah and came home to cook it in the over for the instructed first 3 hours that night. Then I pulled the roux and reduced it on the stove top adding more BBQ sauce, and a little bread crumbs to thicken up the roux. After 5 games of pool and couple episodes of Intervention my bud and I went silent until there was nothing left. Everyone needs a little tenderness in their lives. Both kids recovered in rehab and it was a truly spiritual meal that was nurtured with love and attention. How simple life can be.”

  • “My family loved this pork chops and my kids are very picky. The sauce did not thicken up for me but they were still delicious. Thanks!”

  • “Very tangy and tasty!I used Grey Poupon for the mustard because I wasn’t sure what kind to use, but it worked out great! Thanks.”

  • “I followed the directions and used some really nice pork chops from the butcher shop but unfortunately they turned out very dry.The flavor was great and I used Dr Pepper instead of coke as the wife likes the DP.Ill try it again with less liquid and some thinner pork chops that you can cook quicker. Its worth a try and had nice flavor!”

  • “Terrific pork chops! I used fresh mushrooms and Vidalia onion, also used spicy brown mustard which added a bit of a kick. The sauce reduced perfectly in about an hour, and the chops were amazingly tender. One of my keepers!!”

  • “Excellent pork chops right here.We loved them!So nice and tender and great flavor in the sauce. This one is headed to my favorites to have again.”

  • “This was a great recipe. My pork chops were fork tender. The sauce didn’t really thicken up, but I only cooked it for 45 minutes. I used crimini mushrooms, and sauted them with the onions. Thanks for the great recipe JoAnn. P.S. my exchange students (Germany and Sweden) thought the idea of Coke was so funny, but both really love it.”

  • “YUM!! My hubby and kids both despise ketchup and mustard but everyone loves this dish. Of course they know about the coke but not the condiments 🙂 Thank you so much for the recipe….delicious!!”

  • “These were delicious!I used spicy brown mustard in the sauce for a little something extra.I’ll definitely be using this recipe again.”

  • “Very good. Husband was very surprised at the secret ingredient. Thanks!”

  • “Very good. My sauce didn’t thicken at all so I added a little bit of cornstarch and that helped. It tasted very good, not too sweet and not too anything else.I used fresh mushrooms and cooked them with the onions. This went well with mashed potatoes and peas. Thanks for posting.”

  • “This recipe is fantastic! I’ve used other coke recipes before but it was an excellent addition to pork! It had sort of a BBQ flavor, but was still very sweet. Ommited the onion, because I didn’t have one, but we didn’t miss it. The pork was so tender! It did take closer to an hour for the sauce to thicken enough, but the taste was worth the wait! Thanks!”

  • “I love this recipe as well and have made it regularly – I hope that you don’t mind that I posted a picture of it.Paulette”

  • “Great! Never thought to use Coke as a seasoning? Kids loved it.”

  • “This was very easy & flavorful!I have to say when everyone likes a recipe, it’s gotta be good!!(I have picky eaters!) I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of chopping the onions vs. slicing them. After simmering for 40 minutes, I removed the lid & simmer 15 – 20 minutes longer for the sauce to reduce & thicken.”

  • “This was a good recipe, but didn’t knock our socks off.Could have been because I used Pepsi vice Coke, but I’m not sure. The sauce just tasted like Ketchup and Mustard mixed together, but that’s okay…cuz I like both of them.I will likely make again for a midweek family dinner, but don’t think I’ll be breaking this out to impress our friends. It was fun to pour a soda into my food, though.”

  • “Terrific tender chops!Like the others, I allowed to simmer for about an hour to get the sauce nicely thickened. This is a great recipe – easy, flavorful and virtually fool-proof.Thanks!”
