  • “Made for Comfort Cafe 2009This is really good stuff.Reduced to 2 cups for myself as I am the coffee drinker in the house. I did not have whole cloves but added in ground. I also left out the brandy as I made this for a morning drink.WIll have to serve this for company and add the brandy in next time. Thank you.”

  • “I scaled this back for one person and left out the alcohol. I loved the lemon and orange flavor! Thanks! Made for the Comfort Cafe.”

  • “I found the alcohol a bit strong for my taste but then I have never flamed anything and chickened out at the last minute so the alchol didin’t burn off LOLLove the rind and spice flavourings.Made for Comfort cafe Recipe of the day”

  • “I made a half recipe of this for the *Comfort Cafe* event using brandy & the full amt of cloves as I favor them. As written, it was a bit strong for me ~ but I admit to being a bit of an *alcohol wimp* , so I mellowed it as a pers pref w/a generous amt of the spray variety whipped cream stirred in & liked it a lot. Thx for sharing this recipe w/us.”

  • “I am an espresso lover. Usually without anything. This was a nice change. Fruity and the cloves after taste was nice. I used Grand Marnier for the cognac. Made 1/2 the amount. Made for Comfort cafe https://www.recipezaar.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=288536&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=915Thanks.”
