    “I have made this cornbread for 18 years and everybody loves it”

    Ingredients

  • 1cupself-rising cornmeal
  • 1cupall-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cupsugar( YOU CAN LEAVE THIS OUT IF YOU LIKE)
  • 2eggs, beaten
  • 1cupmilk
  • 1/4 cupmelted butter

    • Directions

  • MIX EVERYTHING JUST UNTIL MOISTENED.
  • PLACE ABOUT 2 T CRISCO IN BAKING PAN (SMALL) AND MELT IN 425 OVEN.
  • WHEN CRISCO IS MELTED TILT TO COVER PAN AND POUR BATTER INTO THE PAN.
  • BAKE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
