  • “I made recipe using enchilada sauce instead of tomato sauce. I also lowered the mayo to 1/4 cup & added taco seasoning to the meat. The biscuit layer was rather bland & needs something added to it. Other than that it was good.”

  • “I got this recipe from my aunt, and have made it several times. Some of her measurements are bit different, but the idea is the same. It turns out tasty and the leftovers (if there are any!) are good too. Thanks for posting (now I don’t have to!)”

  • “This was great for a quick weeknight meal. Was really yummy and so easy. i added black beans and taco seanoning to it, also.”

  • “This was good and easy to make. I did make some changes. I had frozen taco meat in my freezer (hamburg and taco seasoning) so used that. I added 2 cups of cheese and didn’t add the mayo or the paprika. My family enjoyed this.”

  • “This was good an easy too!I omitted the green pepper and onion as I didn’t have it on hand (so I added some minced dried onion instead).I also added a packet of taco seasoning so I left out the paprika.Added extra cheese and sour cream; left out the mayo (my son is allergic to eggs).I also spread a can of refried beans on the crust below the meat.Topped it with chopped tomato and avocado.Delish!”

  • “Very tasty.I added 1 can of black beans too.I didn’t have an 8 ounce can of tomato sauce so I used a 15 oz can of diced tomato. It came out a little dry but that’s my fault (no tomato sauce) and my hamburger is pkg as 1.5 lbs.I was also going to put in some taco seasoning but forgot.I will be making this again. It’s a great weeknight meal and we all loved it.Thank you!”

  • “This was easy to make and tasted great! The only change I made was to add a packet of taco seasoning mix whenever I stirred in the tomato sauce.I plan on making this often.”

  • “Easy to make and very tasty! The kids loved it (and they don’t like bell peppers and onions!) and the adults found it satisfying too.”

  • “I enjoyed this very much and would definately make again!”

  • “I wasn’t thrilled with this. Maybe it was my off brand of biscuit mix. Also, recipe doesn’t call for salt and that was definitely lacking. I think it would be good with crushed Rotel tomatoes mixed in with meat sauce and perhaps more cheese or less sour cream. It was easy enough, but I probably won’t make again.”

  • “I tagged this recipe during a Zaar game and am very glad that I did! It is so easy and tasty! My husband, who thinks he doesn’t like sour cream, went back for thirds (smaller slices, but still…he LOVED it!). Next time I make this I might garnish it with some lettuce and tomatos. Other than that, I’ll follow the recipe exactly as it’s written! Thanks for another great 5 Star edition to my menu plan!”

  • “Very, very good, our finicky son was shoveling it in his mouth! I did add 1 cup of extra cheedar cheese to the top prior to baking, just because we love cheese.”

  • “This is sooo good thanks Debe”

  • “An easy dish to fix and it tasted great!I made as directed, except I substituted a can of drained and rinsed pinto beans and 1/8 to 1/4 tsp chipolte chili powder for the meat, but that is a personal preference. Thanks for sharing another delicious recipe Sharon 123! “
