  • “Loved this. We sized it down for 2 people using 1 egg and just over 1/4 cup milk. Very simple and quick to make yet tasty. Great with maple syrup on top!”

  • “This was a top-notch recipe.I made it for my wife on Valentines Day this year and WOW was it good and very simple. She loved it, too!I just took out the confectioners’ sugar, used vanilla extract instead of the rum extract, and instead of adding all the nutmeg I used 1/2 the nutmeg and made the other 1/2 cinnamon.Husbands…don’t hesitate to make these, they are easy and delicious.”

  • “My family and I loved it, best french toast I ever made”

  • “I made this for my family today. Everyone said it was really good–restaraunt qood quality. I soaked the bread in the batter till absorbed before cooking. That way, I didn’t waste eggs by having leftover batter. This worked out very well.”

  • “This is a great sunday morning breakfast. It is quick and easy and my family loves it.It has become a weekend favorite!!”

  • “I made this with my kids today. It was a very easy recipe to make and was enjoyed by all. I did make a minor change to the ingredients. I used someone else’s suggestion and replaced the rum and nutmeg(neither of which I had at home),with cinnamon and vanilla. The kids really enjoyed this so I’m sure we will make it again.”

  • ” It was pretty good but it still tasted too much like bread. Maybe its because i used wheat bread. “

  • “My husband just made this for me for Mother’s Day! Obviously very easy and quick to make. Tastes great with both syrup or powdered sugar on top. He used cinnamon instead of nutmeg and pure vanilla extract instead of rum extract. A nice compliment to my earlier breakfast of popcorn and hot bell peppers served to me by my 4 year old daughter lol 😉 Happy Mother’s Day!”

  • “Never thought to use rum extract.I did and it was good.I used low cal bread and maple syrup.Very good.”

  • “Wonderful!Quick and easy.I didn’t have rum extract so I had to use vanilla, but this turned out so yummy…the whole family wolfed it down and asked that I definately make it again. Thanks!”
