“These cookies were wonderful. It was a brand new recipe for me. This was a fantastic find to use up apples. My husband absolutely loved them. I will make these again. I did omit the nuts.”
“These are delightful little cakey, moist cookies.I omitted the clove, simply because I didn’t have any, and I baked them on an a silicone mat on my baking sheet instead of greasing the pan. They turned out fantastic. Thanks for the recipe! It’s a keeper!”
“very moist cookie with a nice balance of flavors”
“These little cookies taste like bites of cake! I forgot to add nuts, and mine came out sooooo soft!Everyone loved them. They are a perfect fall snack. I don’t think I chopped my apples small enough because the chunks were really big; I’ll definitely take a little more care in chopping next time – which might be very soon!”
“These cakey cookies are delicious and will be expecially good this fall and during the holidays!”
“I made this for the 2006 Summer Pick A Chef Contest.I really like this recipe.I did make one substitution and I substituted Peanuts for the Walnuts.I did not think this would hurt the recipe. The cookies are moist and very delicous. You can not tell that the peel is left on the apple and the apple is not the main taste its like a secondary. The first is the peanuts and the raisins.Really well made and put together recipe. Its a keeper!!!”
