Garlic Sizzled Mushrooms

    Ingredients

  • 1teaspoonolive oil
  • 5cupsquartered mushrooms, , about 1 lb
  • 1/4 teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes
  • 1dashsalt and black pepper
  • 10clovesgarlic, smashed
  • 1/2 cupno-salt-added beef broth
  • 2tablespoonschopped fresh parsley
  • Directions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large nonstick frypan coated with cooking spray over medium high heat.
  • Add mushrooms, crushed red pepper, garlic, and a dash of salt, saute 3 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to medium.
  • Add the broth and a dash of black pepper, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with parsley.

  • “Yum!There are delizioso!I was in a rush and didn’t read the instructions properly so I minced the garlic.I only put in 5 cloves, fortunately.Just smashing all 10 cloves would flavour the mushrooms nicely so I’ll make sure to do that next time.I didn’t have beef broth on hand so used chicken broth.I just measured the pepper flakes into my hand and may have added a tad too much.My hubby found it too spicy.Excellent with our barbequed steak tonight.Thanks”
