  • Reviews

  • “The straight recipe is easy to make and makes delicious light, moist muffins that taste great. And so little sugar! I like to mix in chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and/or pineapple tidbits, too. Thank-you!”

  • “Great no fail muffins.Have made them twice.Once I added walnuts and the second time I added blueberries.I like to add some vanilla to the mix and leave out the nutmeg.”

  • “Wow these are so delicious! They rose perfectly – which is a first for me, being a typically bad muffin maker. I was pleasantly surprised with these muffins given the average reviews. I think they deserve a lot higher! I followed the recipe as written, adding chocolate chips to half and dried cranberries to one – but once I tasted them I realised the extras are not needed. Baked in 15minutes. So yummy and filling! Highly recommended! Thanks for the awesome recipe”

  • “Made for my 3 Chefs – tasty muffins – only change I made was to add some mini chocolate chips! Thanks Ann!”

  • “I also found these rather bland. My kids would not eat them. They do have potential…..”

  • “I made this recipe last weekend and replaced the white sugar with brown sugar and also doubled the nutmeg and cinnamon. Really really tasty! Will definately make again”

  • “My kids devoured this puppies for breakfast.Something quick and simple, but also tastes great!!!!Already has made it to our favorite recipe box!!”

  • “I was VERY happy with how these turned out.I made them as written.I don’t like super sweet muffins, these are just sweet enough, and the banana flavor really comes through.Yummy, and I don’t feel guilty serving them because they are good for you!”

  • “wasn’t sweet enough but was super easy to make, I will put more sugar in it.thanks”

  • “Wonderfully moist. I only had one banana, so maybe that’s why it wasn’t quite sweet enough. I may add a little more sugar next time, or maybe some chocolate chips. Will definitely make this again!”

  • “I like this recipe.I added raisins, pecans and cranberries to the batter.I like that it doesn’t have much sugar in it and is low fat.”

  • “Kind of bland as well as not sweet enough. I added 1/4 tsp of salt.”

  • “These muffins did not rise well. They tasted kind of bland to my taste. I do admit that I used old fashioned oats (Quaker’s) rather than quick oats, which may have had a negative effect on the recipe.”

  • “easy and tasty recipe for people who like banana bread–plus low cali added a few chocolate chips to half the mix–“
