  • “Most excellent chutney, Bergy. My hubby is very happy with the results. He’ll be just itching to try it out on family and friends. We didn’t change a thing in the recipe, but found that we had to simmer it more than 2 hours. Who cares?? THANX!”

  • “Added some very hot homegrown peppers to thisrecipe, forgot the chili powder, and it is a very good spicy chutney. Thanks.”

  • “Loved it, but only after certain adjustments – like reducing brown sugar and boosting “hot” (chili powder) to commercial chili-garlic sauce. Also, I reduced the amt. of apples (Granny Smith) in favor of green tomato flavor. Thanks, Bergy! Always interested in recipes for green tomatoes.”

  • “Delicious chutney!!!! My husband and I find it goes especially well with grilled or smoked chicken, turkey, and pork.”
