  • “Simple, quick and very tasty.”

  • “This was quick and easy to make! It’s going to be a new comfort food for me.I omitted the salt because I thought that the ham and cheese would provide enough flavor (sodium) for me.Instead of putting the onions in the casserole with the ham and potatoes, I put them in the melted butter for a bit to soften them up a little while and then added the flour and continued as directed.Thank you for the recipe!”

  • “All 3 of us loved it. My hubby, the picky eater, said he will even eat the leftovers, “

  • “Very good, almost the same as I make mine, only I saute the onions in the butter before adding the flour. Such comfort food! A sprinkle of paprika on top in a nice touch.”

  • “I agree…. Easy, cheesy &very tasty! My search for the perfect Au Gratin Potatoes and Ham has ended here! I used cheddar, American and Gouda cheese because I didn’t have enough cheddar and it was OUTSTANDING! I substituted a bouillon type seasoning packet for the salt (my ace in the hole). The cheesy sauce turned out beautiful and was foolproof. I bakes a bit longer. The sauce will thicken after a few minutes, so don’t over bake. I also gently stirred & folded before serving, careful not to break up the (Yukon gold)potatoes. Thanks for the ultimate cheesy yummy dish! We made a meal out of this entree & and I served with peas, YUM!”

  • “Good, easy.I used some broccoli and carrots as I had fewer potatoes than I thought. We ate it as a main dish, then leftovers as a side dish.”

  • “EASY! I bought a 1 lb. pkg of cubed ham which reduced the time prep considerably.”

  • “YUMMM!! Quick, easy, tasty. I used bacon instead of ham – it’s what I had. Definitely an addition to our “comfort food” list.”

  • “This was creamy and cheesy our favorite!!!!Will diffinately do this one again!”
