  • “Hamburger Helper Soup? How odd i thought.Had to use Mixed frozen Veggies in place of Veg-all.GR88888 recipe, thanks for posting.”

  • “I really liked this but the rest of the family thought it was OK. I used five cups of beef broth and no water. I didn’t have veg-all but had a bag of steamfresh mixed veggies so I made them in the microwave and dumped them in. I also added about 1/4 teaspoon of pepper. I made grilled cheese sandwiches on the side. This made for a nice quick dinner on a rainy evening.”

  • “What a surprise. This was really really good!!I mean REALLY.The kids loved it, the boyfriend loved it…..what more could you ask for?”

  • “I was very skeptical about making this but it was so yummy! If my 6 year old and husband like it, it’s a keeper recipe or what we call a “Do Over.”!Thank you!”

  • “So easy, so yummy and so filling.I made this when hubby and I were not feeling well and it was very comforting.I used ranch flavored hamburger helper.I added shome shredded cheese on top. Thanks for a yummy and easy soup.”

  • “My family DEVOURED this!Such a welcome change from the usual.I couldn’t find the Veg-all so I just used a can of corn and it came out perfectly.I served it with some sour cream and corn chips and it made a great meal. Thanks for posting!”

  • “Remember when it was beef noodle instead of beef pasta?! I made a version of this soup in the 70’s. Lost the recipe and this one is very close. Tasty. Thank you!”

  • “This is a great recipe easy to make. I used regular rotel, we like it spicy . One of my favorite comfort foods. I also used garlic, I found that if you put too much water it does become a little bland I put 3-4 cups and taste it.Thanks for sharing!!”

  • “I am thrilled to have found this recipe. My mother used to make this for me when I was a kid during the late ’70s and early ’80s. Since then she had lost the recipe and had forgotten it.I told her that if it were on the web anywhere that I would find it.Voila, I found this wonderful recipe and a great site to boot.Thank you for posting this Warm Memory in a Pot.”

  • “The soup base is a little bland – I might add some beef stock or chicken stock in place of some of the water. I used a can of mild Ro-Tel instead of the plain tomatoes, as another poster suggested, but it’s still bland.”

  • “This soup is fantastic, thanks for the great recipe.I make this soup once a month, even my grandson requests this soup.”
