I made this charming shawl pin by hand. Beginning with copper sheet, I hand cut, file and smooth the copper, clean it completely and after that fuse the enamels (finely ground glass) to the copper in a number of layers and in multiple torch or kiln firing sessions. The back is likewise enameled.
