    “Serve warm with lots of butter and Irish Lamb or Beef Stew.”

    Ingredients

  • 8ouncesplain flour
  • 1lbwhole wheat flour
  • 1teaspooncream of tartar
  • 1teaspoonbaking soda
  • 1teaspoonsalt
  • 1teaspoonsugar
  • 3/4 pintmilk
  • 1tablespoonyoghurt
  • Directions

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Knead into a round and cut a cross on top.
  • Bake on a cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
  • Serve warm.

On its own its a little too floury for my taste.
