  • “I made your pork chops again, Joan, but this time I didn’t have any soy sauce on hand. However, I did have LaChoy’s teryaki sauce and used it with fabulous results! Thanks again for a great recipe!”

  • “This recipe was lovely to say the least. I used pork steaks instead of chops, only difference being the bone of course. The cooking method made the pork quite tender. I might try this recipe with pork ribs too.”

  • “Wonderful recipe,Joan.Just the right amount of sweetness,I added some crushed red peppers to the soy and sugar mixture and I added some onions with the garlic.I drizzled the yummy sauce over green beans and it was great!!Will keep this recipe handy for future use, thanks for sharing it with us!”

  • “Oh WOW!!This recipe is positively delicious. I have to say that after browning the pork chops, simmering for an extra 35 minutes will dry your meat out. Because of the little nasties pork can harbor I think people tend to overcook this meat, so consider shortening the simmer time if you want juicy chops.Man oh man was this good, thank you!”

  • “I’ve made this recipe twice now….delicious! Thanks!”

  • “This is very very tasty, I saw this a couple days ago on the newest recipes and had some pork chops out for dinner and wanted to serve them differently from the way I normally do. My husband loved the sweet sauce, and they were very tender. Thanks for posting. =)”

  • “It was ok. Simple.”

  • “Easy, quick supper.DH loved it. Did not change a thing. Will make again.”

  • “We really liked this.I poured the sauce of rice, very good.Next time I will leave out the 2 Tbsp of oil mixed with the soya sauce and just add more chicken broth.I found that the extra oil just sat on top of the sauce anyway. Next I think I’ll try it with chicken and add a bit of ginger.”

  • “DH says a 5* for sure, he loved them.So easy to put together lovely and tender with lots of flavour.I didn’t thicken the sauce, it really didn’t need it, it was cooked down quite nicely.i will probably make this again, I only did one big thick one this time. Thanks for posting.”

  • “This was an awesome recipe! It is now our favorite pork chop meal. Thanks for sharing!”

  • “This was a very nice meal. There are only a couple of changes I would make next time. I will decrease the oil in the sauce to 11/2 tblsp. and decrease the soy sauce to 3 tblsp. It was a little salty for me even though I used low salt soy sauce. That said, we really did enjoy it, loved the sauce on the rice. Thanks for a very good recipe, Joan.”

  • “Best pork chops I ever had!”

  • “Yummo! These were great! The sauce is outstanding and my chops came out wonderfully tender after only 20 minutes on simmer…this mainly would depend on the thickness of your chops how long to let them simmer.I served them and the suace over ramen noodles with some broccoli and red pepper strips mixed in. I was only cooking for myself so the leftovers the next day made great prok fried rice! Thanks Joan!”

  • “The sauce was really delicious. The pork chops were a little tough…maybe something I did. If I can cook them so they are tender this will be a great recipe to keep.”

  • “I made these tonight and my husband and I loved them!He tends to like his pork chops the same way- coated in flour and cooked in the skillet- but he raved about the sauce.Said it reminded him of the sauce you get with lo mein or chow mein (he couldn’t remember) but we both agreed it tasted like a nice sauce you’d get from a Chinese food restaurant. I did cut down the cooking time like Dreamcookie suggested and they came out juicy and tender! Thanks for a new way to cook pork chops! We really enjoyed it!”

  • “I made this recipe last night, knowing my boys don’t like pork all that well..Let me just tell you how much they enjoyed them. My oldest son dipped them in BBQ sauce and I actually felt sorry for him because I felt he was missing out on the true taste of the meat. What a great recipe. Will be adding this to my rotation. Very, very nice.”

  • “Made Joan’s pork chops the other night.Since just two of us, cut the recipe in half and used 2 loin chops. We absolutely loved the flavor. Thanks for submitting your recipe!”

  • “This turned out pretty good. Nice fork tender chops! I think there was too much soy sauce for our taste, so next time I may try it with teriyaki sauce as suggested by another reviewer. Also, I think it would be excellent with some pineapple too. Good job Jopan!”

  • “This is a great tasty way to make pork chops! My youngest DD loved it and she never would eat pork.Definite keeper here sweet and delicious! Thanks Joan”
