Called by the Wyandot individuals, Lake Ontario implies Lake of Shining Seas. The last of the 5 terrific lakes, Lake Ontario is the outlet of all this fresh water into the Atlantic by way of the St. Lawrence, and the just one of the great lakes that does not border the state of Michigan. This is an original, layered papercut piece, handmade in Minnesota, in a deliciously rich set of Teal blues, and including the gorgeous Lake Ontario and some of its major islands.

This unique piece is elaborately cut from five layers of high quality, acid-free cardstock. The leading layer is a bright white, while the layers beneath remain in ever-darker shades of color. The back is labelled, signed and dated as an initial piece.
