Our distinctive art glass beads are made in our back porch studio, looking out at the gardens for inspiration, using small burner torches with a variety of glasses, consisting of Effetre/ Moretti from Murano, Italy, Kugler and Double Helix glass. They are formed and shaped primarily with gravity and the aid of paddles with an occasional use of presses, and gradually hardened and cooled over night in a digitally regulated kiln. They are then thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

We photo the beads in natural sunshine (weather condition allowing in the winter). Colors and intensity may slightly differ on various computer system displays. Colors can likewise vary when beads are seen under various types of artificial lighting.

We are members of SRA, Self Representing Artists, a group of glass artists who are dedicated to the art of lampworking, an ancient art kind that grew in Italy in the 1300’s and afterwards spread out throughout Europe, the Americas and the rest of the world.
