“The world needs more farmers.”
Yes Sesa, yes we do… especially if they all take a note (or ten) from your and Jill’s book.
To be a great farmer… you need a dutiful soul that is inherently connected to the earth as your own. You wake with the beat of her days… and sleep to the rhythm of her restful breaths. As a farmer, you take into your hands the creation not only of health for the community, but also the protection and conservation of our soil, water, and landscape. Jill and Sesa… keep painting earth’s open lands with your colors of well being, of love, of truth, and of passion. We need more of “yous” on this planet. Let us all be inspired by those helping mother nature by keeping her natural state… never destroying for the good or prosper of one’s own pocket; but giving… through sweat, tears, broken backs, long days… and a knowledge and a purpose to always do more, always do better, to follow your calling.
I tip my hat to you both. In acknowledgment of your stewardship of the land. In awe of your love in this life. In deep respect for following your life’s calling. In providing us with quite simply… honest food…
P.S. That was quite possibly the most delicious melon I have ever tasted. Bravo.
