Legend says the original Lucky Feline was made by an old Tokyo lady who was so poor she was forced to sell her beloved cat. One night the feline pertained to her in a dream and told her to make its image in clay. When that sold, she made more, and more. She became rather prosperous.

I never had to sell my feline, but I made jewellery to sell under comparable conditions– and would not you know it– now I’m rather lucky, and happy. I did have my own fortunate cat by my side!
