  • “This is sooooooooooo good.Next time I’ll use my crockpot.”

  • “These meatballs tasted like sweet ketchup. Although the mixture for the meatballs only made great meatballs, I do not reccommend the sauce. It has a very strong sweet ketchup flavor that my family did not enjoy at all.”

  • “Very Good!!I made these for my friend and her family a few weeks ago.I doubled the recipe, and I used cider vinegar instead of white, which might be why I did need to add extra brown sugar, also I used 2 cups ketchup, and 1 can tomatoe soup, since I was low on ketchup. My friend and her family raved about these, and have already requested the recipe and made it again! Thanks for the yummy recipe Bergy!”

  • “This recipe was a huge hit for our New Year’s party. I used old fashioned oatmeal instead of bread crumbs and the meatballs turned out great. Plus, I got a lot of compliments on the sauce.”

  • “These were just OK for me.I tasted too much bread crumb, and I am not a fan of bread crumbs to behin with..maybe with Panko (sp)crumbs they’d be different?I cooked the in the crockpot and the sauce was very tasty.”

  • “great recipe but I added 1/2 cup parm cheese in them and they are sooooo good!”

  • “I have to confess that I only used the sauce from this recipe – I had frozen meatballs in the freezer and needed a quick fix-Made the sauce in 3 minutes in asaucepan, browned the meatballs added the sauce to the pan, simmered for 15 minutes and I had a very delicious dinner. Served with sweet potato oven fries, stamed cauliflower & broccoli. Thanks Debra Timberlake for an easy very tasty sauce – next time I will make the meatballs too”
