  • “I have made these before and they are great and easy to make. One tip I have is to use a spoon or your finger and push in the middle of the ball to make an indention to place the icing in.”

  • “This recipe is very good. The cookies literally do melt in your mouth!”

  • “Lovely cookies. They turned out so light, they really do melt in your mouth!I piped some of them into swirls – took a little longer, but looked lovely.Think I might use a cookie cutter next time instead of rolling them.Really yummy!”

  • “Excellent recipe! These cookies are so delicious and very simple to make. Thank you for such a wonderful cookie recipe! I will be making more up today–the other batch just disappeared! Cathy J (hazelruthe)”

  • “Great cookies.Truely melt in your mouth.I iced with a simple powdered sugar icing flavored with vanilla and almond. Will definately make again. Also, very simple to make!”

  • “these turned out great…they melt in your mouth though I only got 3 dzn…I may have made mine bigger though.”

  • “i tried these and they didn’t turn out very good. not sure what i did wrong, but the cookie dough did not stick together at all…it was too crumbly to even make balls. i didn’t want to rate this recipe cause it was probably me that messed the cookies up, since there are so many good reviews. but i don’t think i’ll make them again.”

  • “Mmmmmmm yummy and addictive. I think I ate about 10 cookies in the time I was baking/icing. They were small, so its ok…right? These came out perfect. I made them exactly, along with the icing. Light, fluffy and creamy, they were a hit. Making the indentation in the cookie for the icing was a good idea. Easy and decacent. Thanks!! “

  • “Took a photo, but we’ll have to wait till ocmp is fixed before it appears. Be careful to do overdo them…I did, but I still liked them. They’re great!”

  • “This is the same cookie recipe my mother in law uses but the icing is different. These “cookies” as we call them are just the best and they really do just melt in your mouth.I’m going to post MIL recipe with her icing recipe but will try yours the next time we make these. “

  • “i love these cookies and the icing is good too. they seem so light.”
