ABOUT THE FINISH ** < br/ > I use a surface patina to darken the silver. The color is finest described as steel gray with a slight sheen. Gradually, this treatment will fade to a lighter silver-gray. For how long that takes varies extensively depending on exactly what the ring is exposed to. Chemicals, chlorine, salt water, sweat, soaps, creams, etc. will all trigger it to fade quicker. You can constantly return to me for the patina to be re-done at no charge, or there is a simple way for you to do it yourself!. Simply ask me for details
