MIDNIGHT ROSE- shades of light to dark gray, black, rosy pinks, with some natural white
Handdyed and handspun Coopworth wool.
197 backyards, 7.5 ounces, 8wpi, bulky weight. Advised needle size United States 10+.

This is a fleece-spun yarn handmade from wool locks with very little processing. It is a one of a kind handspun initial. Like all my handspun yarns, after I spun the fiber it was bathed in a gentle, eco-friendly cleaning agent consisting of lavender oil.

Coopworth wool: the basic meaning. A longwool breed originating from a Border Leicester and Romney sheep cross with an intense luster and well defined crimp. My fleece’s meaning: a pearly lustrous fleece that is soft and will be okay for next to skin wear for the majority of people, with clear lovely gleaming color. These fleeces were layered part of the year so they are without any veggie matter and originate from a farm in Northwestern Montana.
