Medieval style ring, handmade from sterling silver and a beautiful white moonstone. The gemstone cabochon is 8mm (5/16 inch) with a pronounced cats eye impact. I have actually covered it with sterling silver gallery wire that resembles a crown, soldered to a sterling backing. The band is 3.5 mm (1/ 8inch) sterling silver with an ornate acanthus pattern.
I offered the ring an oxidized patina to draw out the rich detail, and enhance the look of antiquity.
