You are ordering a custom silhouette, created from a photo that you send me. The finished silhouette will be sized to fit inside a 8×10 frame (sizing may vary slightly). I am simply selling the silhouette in black vinyl (that peels off a white backing like a sticker) which you can place on the background of your choice, whether it’s white paper, or paper with a pattern or even a wall or on glass. A frame does not come with the silhouette. I have made these in all sizes, for families who have done multiple family member’s pictures placed in frames and arranged, creating that perfect vintage looking centerpiece on a wall or above a mantle. Please convo me regarding custom sizes if you need smaller or larger than 5×7 or 8×10.
Since opening my Etsy shop, I have done hundreds & hundreds of silhouettes and have always been able to make my customers happy with a perfect likeness of their loved one. Also, in my experience I have found that female silhouettes turn out best when the hair is up in an updo.
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU
This is a very easy process. All I need is one side profile-view photo that does not cut off the back of the subject’s head. You can send your photos to me by EMAIL (craftedbykerstin@yahoo.com) or by TEXT if you choose to take your photo with your phone. Please convo me if you would like to send your pictures to my cell phone. I will create your silhouette and send it to you for your approval before making your piece.
