Nashville Photo Diary

Take another little piece of my heart…

I’ve been to Nashville several times now, but on this trip, I saw it with new eyes.  I saw it in the faces and souls of the incredible community that lives there, who welcomed us with open arms and made us feel so at home.  Southerners have such a warmth to them, they’re so inviting and willing to invite you into their home, share their stories, talk to you until the early morning hours.  On Wednesday we spent the day with a group of incredible FP Me girls, who blew us away with their kindness, their talent, and of course their beauty. That evening was one I will never forget.  We reconvened at the home of Ruthie Lindsey for a dinner party, joined by Beth of Local Milk, and followed by a performance from Sugar and the Hi Lows.  Ruthie’s backyard looked like something out of a dream, and I had to keep pinching myself throughout the night to make sure it was real.  After dinner, it seemed like all of Nashville began pouring into the backyard for the live music.  It was one of those evenings that you never want to end so you keep it going well into the early morning hours, holding on to the waning moments with new friends until it’s time to say goodbye… for now.

Here’s a little photo diary of our time in Nashville – much more to come!

Thank you to our readers who recommended Frothy Monkey – it did not disappoint!

We found the Mas Tacos truck parked outside Imogene and Willie :).

…along with this man, who we couldn’t resist posing with!

Ruthie and Beth – can’t say enough about these two amazing women!

Stay tuned for much more from our trip to Nashville!
