I designed this fundamental, luxurious men’s hat to be a perfect basic knit! Great for gifting, this pure and simple hat pattern is made remarkable by utilizing a buttery soft hand-dyed 100 % Cashmere. Knit in the round, the pattern only requires 50 grams of DK weight yarn (you will have yarn to extra), and is a great method to use an unique skein for your special guy! Conversion to Lady’s Size included in pattern
Yarn:
No 2 Snowflakes Monstro 100 % Cashmere, (1) 50 gram skein
Or 120-140 yds of any DK Luxury Yarn
Needles: One 16 inch size US 8 circular, Size US 7 DPNs
Ideas:. One stitch marker, to mark the start of each round, if preferred
Gauge: 20 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in straight stockinette on United States 8.
Finished Size: 18 “brim circumference, stretchy
Women’s Conversion:. 16″. brim circumference, elastic
This pattern will work well with both semi-solid and variegated yarns, and is even suitable for self-striping yarn.
