Office Style: Crisp Air
It’s hard to believe it’s already October, especially when you step outside.
Fallen foliage may litter the ground, but this week the autumnal chill we all anticipate was noticeably absent, replaced by summer’s last heat-wave. Regardless of the balmy temperatures, there was still plenty of early-fall outfit inspiration around the office this week, and the higher-than-normal temperatures meant transitional dressing at it’s best.
I snapped a few of my favorite looks on a sunny October afternoon, check them out below, and be sure to click through to grab a similar outfit for yourself!
Above, On a day that can’t make up it’s mind — cold in the morning, hot in the afternoon — sometimes simple is best. This look is just that, but far from boring. I think the combination of a textured tee dress and suede accessories is beautiful.

Get the look: Printed Deep V Boyfriend Shirt, Flynn Loafer, Slouchy Boyfriend Jacket, Cool & Clean Harem Pant, Lucia Carpet Tote.
A unique take on a classic look, this outfit is the epitome of fall to me. Earth tones, loafers, a woven bag, and a cool print — it’s all there.
Get the look: Floral Impressions Leather Jacket, Washed Denim Overall, Hawkins Slip On.
How incredible is this jacket? I loved this pairing of bright blue overalls with black and white, it’s a simple combination, but the unexpected pop of bright embroidery adds gorgeous texture and a pretty dose of color.
Get the look: Retro Print Swing Tunic, Defender Lace Up Boot.
Proof that a pair of classic motorcycle boots is your go-with-anything ticket to amazing style. Pair them with a cute mini dress, above, and wear them later with jeans and a sweater.
