On The Road To Richmond: What’s In My Bag

On The Road To Richmond: What’s In My Bag

I love exploring new cities and this week I’m hitting the road once again, bound for Richmond, VA.

It’s a city I’ve never been to, but one I’ve heard good things about and I’m excited to have a look around. I’ll be rolling into town with a few other coworkers for our Food & Fashion Festival at FP Richmond and photographing our FP Me shoot (it’s going to be gorgeous), so for this trip comfort is key. Keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks for full coverage of all things FP Richmond!

Here’s what I’m packing for a few days of food, fashion, and lots of exploring. Have you visited Richmond before? I’d love to know what your must-see stops are!

Get the look: Ryder Ruana, Drifter Pleated Tee, Destroyed Ankle Skinny, Extended Brim Clipperton, Left Bank Ankle Boot, Desert Night Tote.

The weather this time of year is so fickle — cold in the morning, hot in the afternoon — I’m making sure I pack plenty of layering options. This patterned shawl is the perfect thing to wrap around a tee in the morning, and will double as a blanket later in the afternoon if I happen to find myself lounging beneath an apple tree.

Get the look: Slouchy Boyfriend Jacket, Good Day Sunshine Mini, Blue Monday Henley, Double Merging Quill Necklace, Borden Darby, Marled Slouchy Beanie.

There’s no time for heels when I’m running around with a camera all day – this pairing feels perfectly vintage-inspired but will still allow me to move around as much as I need to. I’m so excited that it’s finally beanie season, I always stash a couple of easy hats in my bag so there’s no need to worry about my hair.
