  • “Fast, simple, easy, do ahead and great taste. How can you loose?? I served this in a wine glass and dusted it with some chocolate. I used a heaping tablespoon of frozen orange juice concentrate and it worked very well. Next time I may add some skinned orange wedges. Excellent!Just wanted to add that this is even better if you make it and then freeze it.Have done this one many times.”

  • “Bergy, I kinda followed Tebo’s lead, thank-you both!!I put some mandarin orange slices in the bottom of wine glasses with some chocolate curles, put the cream in and topped it with more chocolate curles and a couple of mandarin orange slices. It was a huge hit!! and the presentation caused oohhhsand aahhhs !!It was a wonderfull dinner party dessert.”

  • “Very good! Seeing as it serves 4 and there are only 2 of us, I made it and we used two that night, and I froze the other two. We ate the frozen ones 2 days later. Yummy. Good either way.I will definately be making this again, especially for company.”

  • “These are just wonderful, and sooooo easy to make!I used small parfait glasses and shaved some Lindt chocolate dust onto the sides, popped a small ‘bar’ of chocolate on each bottom, and covered with the cream.Shaved chocolate curls and mint leaves made a wonderful garnish.I tried freezing these, but forgot to take them out early enough for them to unfreeze.I ended up nuking them for less than a minute (guests were hungry and anxious to eat)… they were warmed up a bit too much by this, but still tasted incredible. As a bonus, the microwave ended up melting the hidden chocolate, which was a wonderful note to end upon. Thanks for a great new summer dessert!”

  • “Yeah, everyone is right!! This is so good, and so easy to make.It even pleased the eyes and palates of the guys.I took this recipe on the road with me, and it was a good choice.I followed the lead of some of the others and added some fresh oranges in the bottom of the cups.Of course in an rv you dont have fancy glass parfait dishes, but it looked pretty in the little bowls I had. Thanks for sharing a great recipe.”

  • “This is my vote for the top #1 recipe!I made a frozen version using orange juice concentrate. I doubled the recipe, poured it over a crust I made from Hersey’s Ready to Cook Brownie Squares with Chocolate Chips to which I add coconut flakes and chopped pecans, topped with a thin layer of chopped mandarin oranges. Are you drooling yet? Great for a do ahead, serving 8-10. I think I personally like it better – unfrozen. I would like to try this as a trifle, with layers of home made, crumbled dark chocolate, nut biscotti and mandarin oranges. I absolutely will make the simple version many times – I LOVE IT! Don’t miss out on this fab desert. *^-^*”

  • “Lovely, lovely. Here’s my variation, Lemon:Substitute one tablespoon of powdered lemonade mix for some sugar, grate in one lemon rind, or to taste.Top with fan-cut strawberry, mint leaves?Serve in martini glasses for the real kitschy flair.Oh, la-la.”

  • “oh my this is wonderful, I made it for dinner tonight and have alread sampled it..ooops.One serving less oh well. Thanks Bergy another keeper..”

  • “I made this tonight but found the flavor very faint. I eat very spicy foods, which may be why this was just too mild for me to enjoy. I did manage to jazz it up by adding extra orange juice and actual peices from an orange stirred in. That was still too mild for my taste, so I added coconut (toasted) and chocolate shavings from Lindt chocolate that I had on hand. Then, I liked it a lot. I would also enjoy it with mint, unfortunatley I did not have any on hand to add. It’s a nice recipe to start with as a base, then embelish to your own personal preferences and taste. If your taste buds are toast like mine… due to too many habaneros…ha!”

  • “Bergy, this is some cream – Yummmy!!I’ve made this many times now and my son and husband just love it.We either have it with fruits or plain.I have accidentally added mango juice instead of orange (the mango juice container was nearer!) and that too tasted good! Thanks for a wonderful recipe, Bergy.”

  • “This made an absolutely fantastic dessert the other night when we had guests.Everyone loved it, even the non-dessert types! To make it even more orangey I used orange flavor yogurt and added fresh orange zest along with the mandarin oranges and chocolate shavings!Pure heaven! THANX SO MUCH, BERGY!!!!”

  • “This is fantastic! I tried it 3 different ways. First I had it plain, just as the recipe called for…. Yum! Then I added some small segments of orange and tasted it…Yummy! Then I shaved some dark chocolate over it…Yummier! I love the way the flavours blend in with each other so elegantly. This recipe has a lot of potential, whether it is made with orange, pineapple, lemon or mango juice, garnished with chocolate curls, nuts, candied orange peel or toasted coconut, eaten as it is or with fruits, Jell-O or as part of a trifle, the possibilities are endless! This is a keeper..Thanks Bergy!”
