These were made for serving jelly at something like a previously the hunt breakfast on the plantation. The food would be set out on a “hunt board “and the guys would assist themselves.
I would not have known exactly what they were but my Mom had documented in a book what they were. They are 9 “high x 5 “wide. There are 4 mold lines and what resemble sagging lines under the top rim on two sides of each one. That remains in the glass. There are no chips. They weigh 2 lbs. each. There is no wear on the bottoms so I do not understand how old they actually are. They were bought in Alabama. They are not yellow or gray but clear.
