  • “These a fab!The smell while baking will drive you nuts. They are great. What a combo–chocolate & peppermint.”

  • “In a word-AWESOME!Di thanks for your suggestion on the boards!I made these a bit differently (per the advice of the chef, mind you), omitted the peppermint patties, and mixed 1/2 cup peanut butter with 1/4 cup of the brownie mixture, and swirled it through.Man!Have a glass of milk handy when you make these!Rich and fudgy, thoroughly delicious.BTW-in my oven these only took 35 minutes, so you might wish to check them a few times before the time is up, to avoid over baking. That might just have been my oven though. Thanks for a great recipe Di!”

  • “Excellent brownie, very rich!”

  • “Very good!I cooked it for about 35 minutes and I agree that it should probably have been cooked for 30.The middle was great, but the sides were a little crisp for my liking.Overall, a VERY good brownie (and good raw mix too if you’re into that kind of thing).I thought the mint flavor would have stood out more, but I’m glad that it’s just a subtle flavor in the brownie…makes it more likeable for all…not just the mint lovers.”

  • “I found this recipe on the back of the York mini Peppermint Patty bag…I wish I had come here first. 50 – 55 minutes is way too long, I took them out at 45 minutes and suspect they could have come out at 30 minutes. A touch overdone but still passable. I made this recipe in individual cupcake tins and came out with 24 (the original package notes this receipt makes 36)”

  • “I made these last weekend. Followed the ingredient list exactly. My oven runs a tad low, so I set the timer for 35 mins, after reading wildflour’s review. It was perfect. I can only imagine how overdone they would have been at 50 mins! I lined my pan with parchment paper also. These brownies are really delicious. My friends are peppermint patty fans, as am I and these brownies satisfy the mint and choco crave perfectly.”

  • “Really good!Fudgy and minty – just wonderful – took them to a gathering and they were a big hit.I did not use icing and it was not missed a bit.I baked these for about 35 minutes. Thanks for posting!”

  • “These were great. Must confess, I made the icing blue, as UK was playing in the NCAA and I went to a party. Everyone was wild for these! Me especially! Chocolate, mint, icing…..heaven!What a great recipe! I’ve already been instructed to bring it to every family gathering.Thank you!”

  • “These were AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! More like fudge!!!!!! OMG!!!!! We about died!!!! VERY rich, moist, and the peppermint patties were HEAVEN inside!!!! I did top mine with cream cheese frosting that I tinted green, and baked them less than stated, 35 minutes, and they could actually have been baked a tad less but go by your own oven! Thanks DiB!!!!!! :)”
