What enjoyable! A tip of Summertime …
These earrings are made from a pair of vintage glass rhinestones that are & quot; & quot; new old stock & quot;, implying that they are old however have not been used prior to. They are 15 mm in diameter and are a wonderful clear and pink opaque glass givre. They are foiled on the back, and although a few of the foiling has diminished throughout the years of storage, they still glimmer! They are embeddeded in new settings made from antique brass plated base metal.
I added two classic glass leaf ports to the pair. They are most uncommon, with flat backs and gold specificing on the front. They too, have actually been in storage for lots of, years, and there is the smallest & quot; & quot; flea bite & quot; to one of them, but you ‘d be buying brand new if you were stressed over that sort of thing. I do not think you can even see the flaw in the images, and I make certain no-one would when they are being used.
The earrings hang from simple plated brass leverback earrings which give a great, secure hold.
The Pink Cherries are about 2 & quot;& quot;, or 50 mm, from top of hook to bottom of drop.
