This is an awesome cam that I have actually cleaned up and checked. It is in excellent working condition. I have checked it with PX 680 Color Shade Instant Movie from The Difficult Project.
I have actually cleaninged the cam and lens with scrubing alcohol and a great deal of Q-tips and cotton balls. This electronic camera remains in respectable condition. There are a few scuffs one side that you can see in the images, but do not influence the video camera. I have examined and cleaned the rollers and moving parts in the video camera. You can see in the last image a Polaroid that I took with the electronic camera.
Cam History:
The Company Edition 2 was a design in the 2nd wave of Polaroid’s 600-series. Not just did it have an integral flash like the square-cornered Polaroid One Action Flash, but it also had a close-up lens. This consisted of a small piece of transparent plastic that slid in front of the main lens to make it possible for closer focusing.
