    “This goes great with any curry dish also with poultry dishes. Loaded with fiber. Nice flavor”


  • 1cupbulgur
  • 2cupsboiling water
  • 1teaspoonsalt
  • 1teaspoondried basil
  • 1/2 cupgolden raisin
  • 1/2 cupdark raisin
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts or 1/2 cupalmonds
  • Directions

  • Preheat oven to 300F degrees.
  • In a buttered 1 quart casserole dish mix all the ingredients except the nuts.
  • Bake uncovered for 30-45 min or until the moisture is absorbed and the wheat is tender.
  • Fluff with a fork.
  • Garnish with nuts.
