Rose Flowers Tsumami Kanzashi Silk Purple Japanese Maiko Turqoise and Mulberry by HanamiGallery

< p class="cost"> 74,00 USD One of a kind ~< br/ > A huge kanzashi including 3 roses that variegate from a purple to a more red purple. There are also 2 blue-green flowers and 1 mulberry smaller flower and 1 seafoam flower. (The Roses look more blue in the picture than they remain in genuine life). There are lots of pearly stamen accents. All the silks are colored by myself. The flowers are 5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide. An actually pretty piece.

Each petal is folded individually and connected to a base using rice starch.

The backs are 100% wool felt in a coordinating color and the entire piece is on a hair comb.
_______________________________ Exactly what Is Tsumami Kanzashi??
< br/ > Tsumami suggests to

pinch. Kanzashi implies hair stick. What this suggests is that each petal is constructed out of a square piece of silk that is pinched together with tweezers making the shape. Each petal is then organized together with other petals to make the flower form.! It is like system origami only with hand dyed silk, vintage silks, and kimono silks
