    “This is the Mai Tai made at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Honolulu. Cheers!”

    Ingredients

  • 1/2 cuplight rum
  • 1/2 cupdark rum
  • 1/2 cupfresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cupfresh orange juice
  • 3tablespoonsorange Curacao
  • 3tablespoons orgeat syrup or 3tablespoonsalmond syrup
  • ice cube
  • 4slicespineapple, cut into wedges(optional)
  • 4fresh mint sprigs(optional)
  • Directions

  • Mix first 6 ingredients in pitcher.
  • Fill 4 small glasses with ice.
  • Pour rum mixture over; stir to blend.
  • Garnish with pineapple and mint, if desired.
  • Makes 4 servings.
